AIME Hosted Buyers & Media Famil

Business Events Geelong also promoted the region by hosting two event filled pre-AIME famils in partnership with the MCVB. The Geelong & Bellarine tour featured activities on the Geelong Waterfront, a mystery mission at the Mercure Hotel Geelong, The Bellarine Taste Trail grazing, a night on the Legendary Blues Train followed by luxury accommodation at Hawthorn Suites.

"I feel so fortunate to have chosen Geelong & Bellarine as my pre-touring option as it enabled me to see a truly diverse and interesting region and meet so many wonderful people from such different countries. I am just buzzing with new ideas. My sincere thanks Business Events Geelong and the MCVB for planning and hosting such a great weekend. Thanks also to all the venues and people that we met along the way for the pre-AIME activities.

The highlight for me?..The Blues Train, of course. That was the icing on the cake and by the time it was over, I think we had all become firm friends. What great fun! I have been telling everyone I know just how ?user friendly? the region is" . Jan Berryman, Event Specialist

Meanwhile, on the Great Ocean Road tour, guests were guided by Big Stick Adventures, treated to golf and an exquisite lunch at Torquay, kangaroos at Anglesea and games held on the lawns of Mantra Erskine Beach Resort. After a night at Cumberland Lorne Resort, koala gazing was the start of the day followed by abseiling at the Otway Fly Treetop Walk.
