FOR the thousands of tourists who converge on the region each year, Crowne Plaza Torquay stands out like a glittering jewel among accommodation options.

The 4 1⁄2 star resort situated at the start of the Great Ocean Road, Crowne Plaza Torquay was a favourite with the judges for its dedication to customers, presentation and sense of teamwork and camaraderie among the staff.

The hotel has 164 apartment-style rooms and caters for business and holiday travellers.
