AirAsia announces flights into Avalon Airport from December 5, 2018

Last night AirAsia announced the first international flights to Geelong’s Avalon Airport will commence from 5 December, 2018.

Business Events Geelong attended the AirAsia official launch event last night in Kuala Lumpur, showcasing what Geelong has to offer business event and incentive travellers.

Flights are due to depart twice daily connecting Geelong to over 130 destinations. Avalon Airport is located only 15 minutes from the Geelong CBD.

Business Events Geelong’s Convention Bureau Manager Mark Day said, “This is a game changer for the business events market in Geelong and The Bellarine. The daily flights will provide business event travellers direct access from Asia to our regional product”.
