Australia Next 2024: Showcasing Australia’s Business Events Excellence

From 8th to 10th September, Business Events Geelong and Higher Mark at GMHBA Stadium represented our exceptional region at “Australia Next 2024” (formerly known as Dreamtime) in Cairns. This signature incentive showcase, hosted by Tourism Australia, highlighted Australia as a premier destination for incentive travel.

The event provided the Australian business events industry a valuable opportunity to connect with qualified incentive agents from around the globe while showcasing Australia’s top incentive experiences and products. Key decision makers from various countries explored the best Australia has to offer through immersive experiences.

Post-event, Business Events Geelong hosted a familiarisation tour for 12 buyers, offering them a firsthand experience of the region. The group visited Jack Rabbit Vineyard, where they participated in a mussel cooking masterclass, and toured the exclusive facilities at Curlewis Golf Club. Guests also enjoyed a French-inspired three course meal at the club’s renowned Claribeaux on The Bellarine Restaurant, which highlighted the venue’s appeal for business events. Their stay at Novotel Geelong provided a glimpse of the region’s top-tier accommodations, giving participants a well-rounded taste of the diverse offerings available for incentive travel in Geelong and The Bellarine.
