Geelong’s Gull Bus Stop at Melbourne Airport on the Move

Gull Bus have announced their Geelong bus stop at Melbourne Airport has been relocated to a new, more convenient position.

Scott Leeds, General Manager, Gull Airport Service said, “The new Geelong Gull Bus stop is located opposite Virgin Australia (T3) on the first island, delivering extra convenience for the majority of our customers.

“This is an exciting development. For 37 years we’ve shared a bus stop with other regional destinations. The Geelong region’s popularity has soared, with demand for our transportation services growing to 130,000 people annually. Given Gull’s sheer size, and in recognition of the excellent service we provide, we now have an exclusive licence for our own bus stop.”

Tourism Greater Geelong & the Bellarine Executive Officer, Roger Grant said, “This is a real win for Geelong. This exclusive new bus stop recognises that Geelong is a major contributor to tourism for the state and is significant enough to warrant its own facility. Gull is a Geelong institution and I congratulate the company on this achievement.”

The Gull Airport Service has been providing the Geelong and district communities with airport shuttle services to Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport since 1980.

The Gull Airport Service operates daily, except Christmas day. Annually Gull transports over 130,000 holidaymakers and business travellers to and from Melbourne airport.

A locally owned, family business, Gull supports the Greater Geelong community by employing 35 local people directly and employing more locals indirectly by engaging Geelong suppliers. Gull spends almost one million dollars annually with local suppliers.
