Business Events Geelong Host Event Organisers at Exclusive Inaugural Mystery Dinner

More than 80 Guests were treated to a night of discovery and indulgence at the inaugural Business Events Geelong Mystery Dinner on Friday, March 24, 2017.

Hosted at Clyde Park Vineyard in Bannockburn, the event provided an opportunity for guests to experience firsthand how close the Geelong region really is to Melbourne, with the whole evening only occupying five hours of their time.

The event also allowed some of the region’s finest industry operators the chance to connect with and showcase their product to potential clients in a relaxed and casual atmosphere.

The mystery began with a ‘Save The Date’ delivered in the form of a mysterious message in a bottle. The invite included a riddle informing guests they would be whisked away to a secret location, which remained unknown until the bus from Melbourne arrived at Clyde Park on Friday evening.

“We wanted to create excitement around the event and keep our guests guessing.” said Mark Day, Convention Bureau Manager at Business Events Geelong. “The evening was designed to break down perceptions that the region is remote because in reality, it’s under an hour’s drive from Melbourne CBD,” said Mr Day.

Business Events Geelong is the Convention Bureau to Geelong and The Bellarine, assisting meeting and conference organisers to source venues and suppliers for their next corporate event.
