REGIONAL BUSINESS EVENTS PROGRAM OPEN FOR GEELONG AND THE BELLARINE

Applications are now open for the Regional Business Events Program.

Funding is available for eligible event organisers hosting new national and international business events in Geelong and The Bellarine.

Events include conferences, trade exhibitions, corporate meetings, and incentive programs occurring after 1 January 2025 and before 31 March 2026. Funding can be used by event organisers for accommodation, venue hire, food and beverage, transport and other event costs.

The program is being delivered by Business Events Victoria in partnership with Melbourne Convention Bureau,  part of the government’s $170 million Regional Tourism and Events Fund.

There are two funding options to choose from:

National Business Events Program:

Up to $80 per delegate (up to $40,000 AUD) for national events. Applications close October 21, 2024.

International Incentive Events Program:

Receive up to $150 per delegate (up to $22,350 AUD) for international incentive events. Applications close June 30, 2025.
