Geelong to welcome delegates to the sixth Better Together Conference in June

Australia’s National LGBTIQA+ Conference, known as Better Together® is set to make its way to Geelong and The Bellarine on 14 and 15 June.

Held at GMHBA Stadium on Djilang, Wadawurrung Country, delegates representing Australia’s diverse LGBTIQA+ communities and organisations will come together to share ideas and experiences, learn from each other, forge alliances and ultimately work together to build a better world for LGBTIQA+ Australians.

Better Together® 2024 will once again feature exciting guest speakers from around the world. Several pre-conference events will be running to explore how different parts of our community might work towards being #BetterTogether.

In addition, THE CHOIR by ABBA The Museum is bringing their unforgettable timeless performances to Geelong, offering an exclusive experience for seniors in the rainbow community and their loved ones on Sunday 16 June from 2pm. Tickets are on sale and available for purchase online here.

This landmark event brings a new dynamic to Geelong and The Bellarine and is estimated to bring more than 800 delegates and a combined economic benefit of circa $900,000 to the region.
