Jetstar Connects Brisbane to Geelong
Jetstar has launched it’s Brisbane to Melbourne (Avalon) services as of the 28th June.
Jetstar will now offer daily return flights connecting Brisbane and Melbourne Avalon, celebrating 20 years since its inaugural flight with the addition of this new flight path.
This new route will provide Brisbane corporate clients with easy access to Geelong’s Business Events offerings and the Great Ocean Road, ideal for post touring activities. Tamie Ryan, Business Events and International Manager, emphasised the benefits for South East Queensland associations and corporations, stating, “The new Brisbane to Avalon service creates an opportunity for South East Queensland Associations and Corporations to access and explore our region, as well as many other Regional Victorian destinations.”
“We look forward to welcoming Queenslanders via this new route. The direct link between Brisbane and Avalon will give customers from Brisbane access to Geelong and The Bellarine at an affordable price.”
Business Events Geelong is the Convention Bureau to Geelong and The Bellarine, representing more than 550 professional businesses in the business events industry. Services are free and include assistance with providing planning resources, site inspections, guidance with sourcing venues and suppliers for corporate events.
