Provenance Wines – A versatile event venue.

Provenance Wines, located an easy one hours drive from Melbourne, is an incredibly dynamic and versatile space within the business events industry.

Sitting along the banks of the Barwon River, Provenance Wines exudes a warm and open feeling from the moment you arrive. Walk through the large timber doors into the winery and cellar door at Provenance and you’ll understand why.

The venue is a heritage-listed industrial building, that once powered the paper mill. The site is still industrial, now housing an array of artistic endeavours from galleries to studios. The large building occupied and expertly restored by Provenance Wines holds their winery and a meeting room on one end, kitchen and cellar door in the middle, and restaurant/event space at the other. It’s a vast space, made cosy by the large central wood heater and lounge area.

Provenance Wines is fast becoming a powerhouse player within the business events space and of recent they have been keeping busy hosting an abundance of meetings, conferences, welcome receptions, gala dinners, cocktail functions and also product launches.

Welcome Reception:

Of most recent The Australian Pig Veterinarian Society hosted a welcome reception cocktail style at Provenance Wines, before they were due to settle in for two days of scientific content, collegiality, and all things pig at the Novotel Geelong. With just over 80 in attendance the event kicked off in style with drinks on arrival, hot canapés, themed food stations and beverages in abundance. It was truly a night enjoyed by all and one to be remembered.

Looking to host a meeting and business function within the one space?

Provenance can do just this. The New Zealand Merino Company hosted merino growers late last year. This was a pinnacle meeting which brought together for the first time new brand Partner ZQ Merino, with the Merino Growers and The New Zealand Merino Company to celebrate their partnership here in Geelong. The business event began with a small day meeting within the River Room and later that evening a group of over 100 attendees gathered for a spectacular cocktail function, speeches and a few presentations.

Looking to launch a product and you need a source a venue which offers a stylish background, but a blank canvas which will allow you to bring your vision to life. Provenance is your answer. Early this year Provenance was the chosen venue to host a book launch. The venue was transformed with, cocktail and selfie station, large projector screens and a grazing table which stretched the entirety of the function space. The exclusive book launch saw over 120 people attend, mingle and indulge.
